WOYWW 139

Well it's Wednesday yet again.....why does the time fly so fast!!

As you can see , my desk is in it's usual 'creative' state ... apart from all the usual crafty 'stuff' there is my art journal.... well it's not a 'journal' as such....more like a place I put down my ideas for projects and then practise them in... does that make sense... I really quite enjoy this kind of art.... love the intuitive stuff....a great way to get rid of frustrations if you don't really have anyone to 'talk' to...but as you can see by those two pages I was in a pretty 'dark' mood!! That blue thing you see next to it is actually a thesaurus! I kind of needed that to help me with other words of the same meaning...if you know what I mean!!

Anyway I digress.....

Over on the lovely Mrs D's Stamping Ground you can have a a right proper nosey around the rest of the World's crafty spaces!

I'm off for a VERY loooooong coffee break and have a wee looksee myself! :D

Enjoy WOYWW !

Take care

Jackie x

I like your 'dark' art!! It doesn't always have to be about sweetness and light, this crafting lark. And I think it helps get it our of your system, very therapeutic in fact!
AND I like the fact that you take time to check stuff out in the thesaurus - I'm always looking stuff up in books/on the net. I don't understand people who are not inquisitive (Ok, nosy, in my case!)

I think your journal is gorgeous. I like that is an "idea" journal. I'm so thrilled you will be joining my AB class next week. It makes it all so worthwhile. I'm # 30, but you know that already (grin)!

Your art journal is great! It is okay to have "dark" stuff in there for sure! Better to let it out in the journal than to keep it all inside you!
Your desk looks very inviting to me and I love the flower embellies storage!

I want to make an Art Journal. I think it would be great to keep all the ideas in one place. Thanks for the sweet comment about all my beads & bling on WOYWW.

Thanks for the comment on my blog today, Jackie. I fear that even if you upload from Photobucket, it still gets thrown into the Picassas (or however it is called) files. I could be wrong, so I will check it out. I've spent the entire day trying to figure out how to get around the blogger storage problem. Now I wish I was back in the park like yesterday (grin).

BTW, I really love your "Chains" art journal. I have yet to make a journal. Well, that's not true. I've made quite a few of them, even sewed covers on them. Hope to sell them one of these days! Have never written in one, though.

Like the Journal on your desk - looks suspiciously like an Art one to me, but however you prefer to refer to it, it's looking good!

Thanks for stopping by....
